Captivating Snow White Games
For Guests of All Sizes

Plan one or two Snow White games for your princess party. Remember to include the birthday princess in the party planning. She may have game ideas you haven’t thought of. Listed below are some of our favorite Snow White game ideas.

The Seven Dwarves Charades

Preparation: Write the names of the Seven Dwarves on slips of paper and place them all in a bowl.

Directions: Invite the first princess to the front of the room to choose a slip of paper. Instruct her not to show the paper to anyone.

Through actions, pantomimes and facial expressions, she tries to act like the dwarf on her paper. The other players try to guess which dwarf she is. She must not speak at all during her turn. The person who guesses the right dwarf takes the next turn.

Snow White Charades

Preparation: Write Snow White's cleaning chores on slips of paper. Examples could include: “wash the dishes” or “make the bed”.

Directions: Invite the first princess to the front of the room. Let her choose a slip of paper. Instruct her not to show the paper to anyone.

Through actions, pantomimes and facial expressions, she tries to act out the cleaning chore on her paper. The other players try to guess what she is doing. She must not speak at all during her turn. The person who guesses the right chore takes the next turn.

Poison Apple

Preparation: Use a plastic apple or a red ball or bean bag for this game.

Directions: Everyone should sit in a circle. Move the apple or ball back and forth between your hands as if it were too hot to touch. Tell the players that this is Snow White’s poisoned apple and it’s too poisoned to touch for long. The game leader sits in the middle of the circle with eyes closed and tosses it to the first player.

The players should keep the ball moving and toss the poisoned apple to each other. When the game leader shouts “poisoned apple”, everyone freezes. The player holding the poisoned apple is out of the game. Repeat until there is one player left – the winner.

Optional: If you don’t want to eliminate people from the game, let the person caught holding the poisoned apple go to the center of the circle to start the next round.

Another Option: Stand around the room, rather than sit. Let guests move around when they toss the poisoned apple. However, they must not let it touch the ground or they are out of the round.

Snow White Says

Preparation: Make sure there is enough room to move around.

Directions: The first player to be Snow White stands at the front of the room. Players must follow her instructions only if she first says Snow White says. For example: If she says “Snow White says wiggle your fingers” players would obey. If she says “wiggle your fingers” players would not obey.

Players must listen carefully. If they follow an instruction that does not begin with Snow White says, they are out of that round. The last player left gets to be Snow White for the next round.

Snow White Pictionary

Preparation: Supply a white board and markers or a large artist pad and markers. Prepare slips of paper with things Snow White might do. Examples could include: washing the dishes, making the bed, dancing with the prince, eating a poisoned apple, combing her hair, etc.

Directions: The first player chooses a slip of paper and reads it, but does not tell anyone what it says. She then draws on the white board a picture of what is on her paper. The object of the game is to guess the what picture she is drawing. The first person to guess right is the next artist.
